Facility Info
The
High Point Museum hosts a variety of events throughout
the year, ranging from business meetings to family
reunions. With five different spaces available for
rental, this unique venue is sure to have what you need.
Conference Room
Be the star of your next meeting by reserving the
conference room at the High Point Museum. This 600
square foot room offers an intimate setting for up to 30
people.
Education Classroom
Our 1100 square foot education classroom makes the
perfect location for civic and business meetings or
dinners. This space can seat 65 auditorium style or 50
for dinner.
Lecture Gallery
The lecture gallery offers an ideal setting for
films, seminars or private dinners. With over 1350
square feet, the lecture gallery can comfortably
accommodate up to 175 people for auditorium seating and
115 people for dinners.
Museum
Reserve the entire Museum to make your next event a
true hit! Our 24,000 square foot facility allows
visitors to learn about the history of High Point. Food
is limited to designated areas. Rental of the entire
Museum is only available after business hours.
Historical Park
Imagine lounging on the grounds where notable High
Pointers once lived! Our Historical Park is composed of
three late eighteenth early nineteenth century
buildings, and it offers a wonderful natural environment
for your office picnic or company gathering. The
grounds are available during the week or after 4:30pm on
weekends. The structures located in the park are not
available for group rentals.

Rules and Guidelines
Any meeting held
in the Museum must be for the purposes consistent with
the general objectives and goals of the Museum. These
include communication of ideas, promotion of an
enlightened citizenry, enrichment of personal life and
the general support of educational, cultural and civic
activities of the community.
Museum
property may not be used for sectarian or denominational
religious programs or for political meetings, which
involve specific candidates, campaigns or parties.
Museum
rooms/property may be used by commercial groups, but not
for commercial purposes. That is, a business may use
the facility for a course in industrial safety, but not
for the promotion of its products.
Members of the Museum staff who are responsible for
scheduling the use of the room have a right to see
handout literature, materials to be exhibited and press
releases.
